Carl Fisher

Carl Fisher and his family have lived in the Tigard-Metzger area since the 1950s. He attended Tigard public schools (Metzger Elementary, Fowler, and Tigard High School) and graduated from Western Oregon University with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science. He has worked as a political consultant, and campaign worker on various campaigns, and served as legislative staff in Salem.

 

Before joining the board of commissioners he served as a member of the district's Budget Committee. Carl is also a volunteer on the Metzger Park Local Improvement District, and the Tigard Transportation Advisory Committee.

 

In 2022 he was the recipient of the Washington County Democrats Maurine Neuberger Award for service to the county and the Democratic Party.
